Sweet JiJi Studios is a family-owned business based in Katy, Texas. We are dedicated to creating imaginative stories, collectible products and meaningful experiences for children and families. Inspired by the memory of Michelle Nunnelly's beloved pet rabbit, JiJi, the company was created with the dream of keeping her story alive through a growing cast of charming characters featured in original comics and adventures.

Michelle Nunnelly is the creative force behind the design of our comic books and the characters in the stories. She has brought those characters alive through plushies and other products. Her twin sister, Rhys Nunnelly, wrote the stories for the comics. Their mother, Carol Nunnelly and brother Kevin Nunnelly, use their extensive accounting background to handle the business side.

In 2014, Michelle and Rhys were living in Brooklyn New York. They had recently graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA and decided to remain in New York. At that time Michelle decided to adopt a bunny and she and Rhys went to a shelter to pick one out. Michelle immediately saw this adorable black bunny in a corner of the enclosure. It was love at first sight. Michelle brought her home and named her JiJi. When Michelle and Rhys decided to move back to Texas a couple of years later, JiJi flew home with them. JiJi was a friendly, lively and curious bunny. She lived for thirteen years and was very loved by our family.

Each story follows JiJi and her friends as they embark on fun-filled journeys that teach valuable life lessons centered around friendship, kindness, perseverance, and curiosity. What began as a passion project has evolved into a growing lifestyle and entertainment brand offering plush toys, comics, enamel pins, tote bags, stickers, and other character-driven merchandise. While Sweet JiJi's primary audience is young children and their families, the brand has also cultivated a growing following among teens and young adults who connect with its unique storytelling, artwork, and collectible products. As Sweet JiJi continues to expand its product offerings and character universe, the company remains focused on sharing positive messages, building a loyal community, and bringing the magic of JiJi's world to audiences of all ages.
